Steelers Head to Tampa

The Pittsburgh Steelers are headed to their seventh Super Bowl.

My husband has decided to cheer for the other team. Being a Cowboys fan, he would rather have the Cowboys win their sixth ring before the Steelers.

Purple Things

Winston stared at my dad with the saddest face he could muster until he was hoisted up in the chair with him.

Now the Steelers must face those mean purple ravens and their coach's lavender coats.

Flute and Pug

You have to hear it to believe it. There is an audio clip available on the left side of the page.

Frick the Pug

I found out about a new dog movie due out in January 2009 from Urban Pug. Check out the movie website and look for Frick.

Romo's Gift

Nice guy Tony Romo played terrible yesterday and helped the Steelers beat the Cowboys 20-13. The ratings for the game were very high. And the guy with no shirt taking a Gatorade bath was very entertaining.

More Turkey Week Photos

This is a lemon or chocolate pie. Can't tell from the outside.
We went to a bakery in Beaumont. This is half of my turkey sugar cookie. It was yummy, loaded with icing.

Belated German Chocolate birthday cake...pre-Thanksgiving dessert.

If you happened to watch Secret Millionaire on Fox Wednesday night, then you got to see a couple from Baton Rouge who own Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers restaurants.

Family - Thanksgiving

My dad had to wash dishes on Thanksgiving...

Here is my aunt and mom after the big meal.

Nerodia erythrogaster flavigaster

This fine water snake specimen was sunning in my parents' back yard. It scared Cornelius. He jumped back rather quickly.

This headline was from the Lake Charles American Press regarding LSU's poor performance last Saturday.

Vacation Day

Big Ben scored a touchdown last night. Another game with no interceptions...3 close calls.

Guess who ate out of the bowl this morning...so hungry, he wouldn't eat out of my hand, I let it spill on the floor and he went from the floor to the bowl.

It's very cold today and some white stuff fell last night.

Flexible

Don't you just love how flexible cats are...
