 We bottle fed him for 10 days before he ate and drank on his own.

 My husband ran his first marathon in San Diego. It was overcast most of the days we were there and in the 60s.

Winston Crossed the Rainbow Bridge

 Winston crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today. He stopped eating Friday. He lived 22 months without the use of his back legs. Rest in peace sweet Winston.

Magnolia's Weekend Adventure

 Magnolia found a king snake (Lampropeltis getula holbrooki)

I had to rescue the snake because she would have played with it all day. She caught a skink and chased a large rabbit the next day.

Gardenias and Blackberries

 The gardenia bush is blooming.

 It is peak time to pick blackberries.

The seeds are sprouting.

Chocolate Chip Scones

 I made chocolate chip scones this morning. They tasted great. Now I have to experiment with blueberries and blackberries.
